This Privacy Policy describes how Weyant Staffing LLC ("StaffSimple," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use StaffSimple.ai (the "service"). We operate from 739 Mermaid Avenue, Pacific Grove, CA 93950.
By using the service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you register for an account, onboard as a worker or client, or use the service, we collect identity and contact information (name, email, mobile phone number, mailing address), account credentials (stored hashed), employment or engagement information (job classification, availability, certifications, tax forms, direct deposit information, timesheets), client service information (staffing needs, shift requests, billing information), and communications you send us by email, SMS, or the platform.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage data (pages viewed, features used, timestamps), device and technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers), and cookies and similar technologies.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from identity-verification services, background-check providers (where applicable), payment processors, and staffing-agency partners who invite workers or clients to the platform.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the service, create and manage your account, coordinate shifts and assignments, process timesheets and billing, send operational and transactional notifications by email and SMS, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
3.1 With Your Staffing Agency, Workers, or Clients
The service facilitates staffing coordination, so information is shared with the other party to an engagement as needed to operate the service (for example, a worker's contact information is shared with the client when a shift is assigned).
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with vendors that help us run the service — cloud hosting, communication providers (to deliver email and SMS), payment processors, and identity/compliance vendors — bound by contract to handle information only as needed to perform services for us.
3.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of StaffSimple, our users, or others.
3.4 Business Transfers
If Weyant Staffing LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction under standard confidentiality protections.
3.5 SMS Opt-In Data — Specific Exclusion
Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected for SMS notifications are used only to deliver the messages you consented to receive and are not sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3.6 Aggregated and De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics, research, or business purposes.
4. SMS Messaging Privacy
StaffSimple offers a transactional SMS program for operational notifications. Key privacy points:
- We collect your mobile number only with your explicit opt-in consent.
- Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- Message content is transmitted through a third-party SMS provider under contractual privacy obligations.

5. Data Retention
We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterward as required by law (for example, tax and payroll records) or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. SMS opt-in records are retained to document consent and, after opt-out, for a reasonable period to confirm the opt-out was honored.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to opt out of SMS (reply STOP), and to opt out of marketing email. We do not use SMS for marketing. To exercise any right, contact paul@staffsimple.ai.
8.1 California Residents
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. International Users
The service is operated from the United States; if you access it from elsewhere you consent to processing in the U.S.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice and the "Last updated" date revised.
